Sue Stauffer

As the Director of Creative Services, Sue Stauffer’s responsibilities include the development and execution of Sacramento’s image as a convention and visitors destination by providing creative direction for many SCVB events and promotions. She manages the design and copy for the biannual Visitors Guide as well as many other projects. Stauffer also oversees the development of the County of Sacramento exhibit at the California State Fair, which has consistently won awards for the past several years.
Stauffer joined the Bureau originally in 1979 and has an extensive background in Sacramento’s advertising industry. Before joining the SCVB, Stauffer held positions in advertising, real estate development and interior design. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in design from U.C. Davis.
Her leisure time includes interior design, drawing, traveling, and dining in Sacramento, while attending to her canine companion, Joseph.
