Dawn Brown

Dawn's professional journey began in Florida as a vacation planner. She returned to the West Coast as a meeting research analyst in Irvine, and began her marketing career in San Diego. Palm Springs introduced her to the hotel industry where she eventually landed at the Palm Springs Desert Resorts CVA for three years. She returned home and began working for the Sacramento CVB in 2000.
At the SCVB, Dawn manages and executes the marketing programs that support the business objectives while integrating the overall brand strategy. She manages the convention sales tradeshows and client events, oversees the discovergold.org website, designs microsites and produces content and collateral.
